Chef Paul Edward ran the bar program at Woodberry Kitchen before creating beloved city spots like The Bluebird Cocktail Room, which put seasonal ingredients front and center in its beverages. In this episode, he talks to Spike about his journey from mixing drinks to becoming a chef "bit by bit," and how that all led to Sassafras, his Eastern Shore cottage restaurant that offers a 12-course tasting menu rooted in the Chesapeake region.
